Acceptable Use Policy

Effective Date: March 12th, 2026
Last Updated: March 12th, 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of DevAI Suite. By using the Service, you agree not to use it in any way that is unlawful, harmful, abusive, deceptive, or inconsistent with the security and integrity of the Service.

1. Prohibited Uses

You may not use DevAI Suite to:

  • violate any applicable law, regulation, court order, sanction, or third-party right;
  • upload, process, store, or distribute content that is unlawful, infringing, fraudulent, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise prohibited by law;
  • harass, threaten, stalk, abuse, or discriminate against others;
  • create, transmit, or facilitate malware, ransomware, phishing, credential theft, social engineering, spam, or denial-of-service attacks;
  • gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, networks, or data;
  • probe, scan, or test vulnerabilities without written authorization;
  • scrape or extract data from the Service other than through authorized features;
  • interfere with or disrupt the Service, its infrastructure, or other users;
  • reverse engineer or attempt to discover source code, security controls, or model routing logic except as expressly allowed by law.

2. AI-Specific Restrictions

You may not use the Service or its AI features to:

  • generate or facilitate unlawful content or unlawful conduct;
  • create deceptive impersonation, fraud, or fake evidence;
  • bypass human review where human review is legally or operationally required;
  • make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on individuals unless you have independently ensured legal compliance, adequate notice, and required safeguards;
  • process highly sensitive personal data in violation of applicable law;
  • develop or deploy prohibited or clearly unlawful AI use cases;
  • attempt to defeat, circumvent, or disable model safeguards, abuse controls, rate limits, or access controls.

2A. Autonomous Rules

The Service offers autonomy modes (Assist, Co-pilot, and Autopilot) in which AI-assisted automations, rules, or agents may propose or execute actions on your behalf. When you use these capabilities:

  • autonomous rules run only within your configured access controls, and an automated action never exceeds the role-based access control (RBAC), separation-of-duties (SoD) rules, entitlements, and permission scope of the user who enabled or authorized it;
  • you are responsible for what you enable — for selecting the appropriate autonomy mode, configuring guardrails, approval chains, and SoD controls suited to your environment, and for the outcomes of actions an autonomous rule takes within its configured bounds;
  • the per-rule kill switch and the immutable audit log are your controls for governing autonomy — you are responsible for reviewing the audit log, setting approval gates suited to each rule's impact, and using the kill switch to halt any rule that is not performing as you intend;
  • you may not configure or use autonomous rules to circumvent RBAC, SoD, approval gates, or other access or abuse controls, or to perform any activity otherwise prohibited by this AUP.

DevAI does not monitor, validate, or approve the rules you configure or the actions they take on your behalf. See the Responsible AI Notice and Section 6A of the Terms of Service.

3. Customer Responsibility

You are responsible for:

  • your Customer Data;
  • the legality of your processing activities;
  • your users' actions within your account;
  • validating any outputs before using them in business, regulatory, engineering, quality, employment, or safety-sensitive decisions.

4. Sensitive and Regulated Use Cases

Unless expressly authorized by DevAI in writing, you may not use the Service as the sole basis for:

  • medical diagnosis or treatment decisions;
  • emergency response decisions;
  • employment screening or termination decisions;
  • credit, lending, housing, or insurance eligibility determinations;
  • legally binding advice to third parties;
  • regulated product safety determinations;
  • criminal justice or public authority enforcement decisions.

5. Enforcement

If we reasonably believe that you have violated this AUP, we may:

  • remove or restrict access to content;
  • suspend or terminate access to the Service;
  • investigate the matter;
  • preserve evidence;
  • notify affected parties or authorities where appropriate.

6. Reporting

To report suspected misuse, contact: admin@devaisuite.com

This AI-specific enforcement framing is prudent given the staged application of the EU AI Act, including prohibited practices and AI literacy provisions already in force, with additional GPAI obligations already applicable as well.
